The Lemon Maranea is a leavened cake made with corn flour, a simple yet rich and delicate tasting product. In creating this sweet, Dario Loison wanted to draw inspiration from the authenticity of the Vicenza tradition, using the quintessential “farmer’s” flour, namely ground cornmeal. What makes the Maranea unique is the quality of the selected ingredients, such as the exquisite ‘Marano’ corn flour and the natural Bourbon vanilla from madagascar, a Slow Food Presidium with a sweet and enveloping flavor. The dough is then enriched with the oils and natural aromas of lemon zest, giving this cake a truly unique fragrance and taste.
