The Easter Colomba with chamomile and lemon is a cake with a soft dough enriched with scented chamomile flowers, candied lemon peel of Lemons from Sicily and the Amalfi Coast, juicy Sultana Raisins and Natural Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar* (*Slow Food Presidium). The surface is covered with a fragrant italian almond glaze , decorated with whole almonds and granulated sugar. The natural leavening from sourdough, the 72 hours of patient processing and the selected ingredients give to the sweet softness, digestibility and unique flavour. The dough is yellow and well-alveolated and made with fresh basic ingredients: eggs from free-range farming in Italy, butter, milk and mountain cream.
Loison's Colomba Chamomile and Lemon embraces with its dainty aroma of chamomile flowers and zest from lemons from Amalfi . This artisanal Colomba stands out for its sweet aftertaste and its refreshing characteristics in a rare example of attentively sough-after equilibrium.
The Colomba is hand-wrapped and protected in a cardboard box. Wrapped with paper whose print depicts the flower and the fruit that characterises it, chamomile and lemon. An accessory is added to the ribbon to make the package even more exclusive and refined, a charm depicting the “L” of Loison.
